Grandview Lake Chelan- Waterfront View, Pool, Hot tub, Golf, 1 Min To Downtown

Town was an easy walk from the two-bedroom unit, and the views were gorgeous. The beds were comfortable, too. We did hear the people upstairs pretty clearly, though they fortunately weren't too noisy. We had a great weekend and would gladly stay again.

You’re right by the lake and only minutes from town, with great rooms for the price. The pool was pleasant, and although the parking spaces are compact, there were plenty of them. I’d recommend staying here.

The condition of the rooms was a major problem for us. I know they’re individually owned, but there didn’t seem to be much quality control. Our room had mold around the windows and in the bathroom, painted-over swollen doors, and a bathtub that wouldn’t drain. A friend’s shower surround was held together with packing tape on 8-10 tiles. Another friend, though, had a very nice room that felt worth the price. We tried the hot tub one night. The greenish water had a thick film floating on it, and the jets and waterfalls didn’t work. Parking was tight, with several large vehicles making their own spaces and little oversight. At booking, I confirmed by phone that we’d have one king bed. When we checked in, there were two double beds instead. The receptionist said they couldn’t find us another room because they were booked, and showed about as little concern as I’ve ever seen from someone in hospitality. At $400+ a night, being asked to take out my own trash or pay extra, I’d expect the rooms to be maintained. I feel The Grandview markets them deceptively, and after this terrible stay I wouldn’t recommend it.

We were in unit 526, facing the lake, and the balcony view was amazing. Sitting out there at the table and chairs felt like being on a cruise. The unit was very clean, including the things you usually wonder about, and the free bottle of wine was a nice surprise. The extra bedroom was handy, and the kitchen was well equipped and fully functional. All the door locks worked properly, including the bathroom lock, which isn't something we’ve had at some other hotels. The fireplace and pool area were great too. We’d come back if we’re in the area again. They did a good job keeping this place clean, attractive, and functional.
