Holiday Inn Boston Logan Airport - Chelsea by IHG

The breakfast was pricey and nothing special, but there’s a Walgreens right next door, which is handy. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the location works really well for Boston. It’s a newer, modern hotel with a gym, laundry room, and pool. Most of all, the staff were excellent and attentive to all six of us during our four-night stay. Leslie was especially on top of the towels, trash, and keeping things pleasant. My family and I will 100% visit this beautiful, clean, quiet hotel again 😊

The Mill Creek walkway around the hotel is nearly covered in goose poop, and the pool water hadn’t been changed during the four days I was there, so I didn’t use it. There’s a bar and restaurant, but neither has been open in two years. The rooms look clean and are up to date, though one small window only opens about two inches; the one beside it seems to have been replaced and is cloudy, so you can’t see through it. The front desk staff were pleasant enough. There’s a small ceiling vent in the bathroom, but it didn’t seem to work. Steam quickly filled the room after a shower, and the fan didn’t clear toilet odors either, so opening the door meant everyone would know what you’d done.

Parking was tough, but I felt very safe here. You need a key card to get into the elevator, and it only works for your floor. The decor and atmosphere impressed me right at the entrance, and my room was spotless and comfortable. The location is close to everything, and my New Year’s Eve rate for a king suite felt more than fair!

Good value. Since it was my birthday, I asked about an upgrade. All the rooms are standard, but they gave me a nice, quiet one overlooking the 'marshes' and facing away from the road. I was pleasantly surprised to find a tin of delicious biscuits, assorted goodies, and a signed card waiting for me. Such a thoughtful touch, thanks guys!
