I've booked this hotel four times while working in Cheraw, and the rooms have been clean each time. The fridge, microwave, heat, and AC all worked, the showers had good pressure and reliably hot water, and I haven't seen bugs. When you need an affordable temporary place to stay, I'm not sure what more you'd ask for. I'd give it five stars for that. If you're expecting the Hilton, go book the Hilton.

Our golf group of 12 stayed here for two nights over the weekend of October 9, one of our twice-yearly trips, and everyone was pleased. The rooms were excellent and room service was nice. Nothing to complain about. Thanks, Econo Lodge. We'll be back on our next trip.

The furniture was dated but still worked, and I didn't mind since that may help keep the rates reasonable. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were extremely polite, with great service, and even checked later in the day to see if everything was okay or if I needed anything. I'd definitely stay again.

Great price and the location worked perfectly for us. The rooms were clean, and the service was great. A very nice stay.

The pool was nice and clean, and my room was nice and clean too. The woman at the desk was really helpful. She explained the breakfast hours and suggested some good places to eat while I was there. I'll stay again.
