Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Richmond I-95 South, VA

That roach on the breakfast counter near the food really put a damper on the stay. Some parts of the hotel also had a smell that seemed like possible water damage, the vending machines had no water, and the bathrooms could use an update, especially for older guests. The staff were kind and quick to help us switch to a larger room for our family over graduation weekend. Our room was fairly clean and comfortable for a short visit, and breakfast had a few decent hot choices. The lobby and shared spaces looked welcoming at first. Without the pest problem, the stay would've been much better.

It was late and we were tired, but Al Patel at the front desk made the whole stay a great experience. We hadn't planned to stay overnight, so we had no toothbrushes, and he made sure we got some. He also upgraded our room, went over the breakfast hours, and helped us enroll in the rewards program. We'd never stayed here before, and Al took his time to make sure everything was set. His customer service was outstanding. He deserves recognition. Thanks so much, Al!

The breakfast changed from day to day, with things like chicken patties, bacon, gravy and biscuits, seasoned potatoes, and French toast sticks. The hotel is easy to get to off 95, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed.

For a one-night stay, this was impressive. The room was clean and roomy, the towels were thick, and breakfast was included and excellent. The front desk staff were great too.
