During a family reunion, our house was bursting at the seams, so booking a cabin here was a lifesaver. My cabin had two beds and a private bathroom, and it was cozy, well-kept, quiet, and comfortable, a welcome break from the big group. It's right on State Rt 8, just a couple miles from the highway and about a mile from Loon Lake beach. Even years later, I still remember the stay fondly. The Pine Tree Motel and Cabins is a hidden gem in Chestertown, NY, and a clean, peaceful, comfortable place to stay in the Adirondacks. I'm looking forward to going back.

A great little place for a getaway. The owners are really sweet and accommodating. They helped my family and me find somewhere to stay for the season while we work on our nearby property. Good people and a good place.

After a day of adventures, it was great to have the comforts we needed, with everything we wanted to see close by. The hosts were delightful and the hospitality was wonderful. There was fresh coffee waiting in the morning, and they made our stay special. Having a puppy-friendly place made it one to remember. If you're after a rustic getaway, this is a great place to stay.

My boyfriend and I came across this place while driving in July 2024, and since the day was stormy, we decided to stay the night. Norleen was lovely. After checking out, we spent time at a primitive campsite that was overrun with mosquitos. We couldn't stand it any longer and went back to Norleen's. It was around 11:50pm when I rang the doorbell. Norleen was gracious and concerned to see us back. I told her we'd tried to stick it out but couldn't deal with the mosquitos, and she let us stay that night without paying upfront. She kindly let us pay for the room in the morning. Our two days there were amazing. The place was cute and cozy, and we loved the balcony. Norleen was so nice, and I'd recommend it if you're ever in the area.

Norleen was a kind, helpful host who really wanted my visit to go well. I stayed during high season, and as a Canadian dealing with a 1.35 to 1 exchange rate, the price was a little higher than I'd hoped for this kind of accommodation. I enjoyed my short stay in a comfortable cabin. It had a mini-fridge, microwave, good storage space, a generously sized table, reliable internet, satellite TV, and an AC that ran without odd or loud noises. The bathroom was especially spacious.
