The pool was why we booked this place for my kid’s fourth birthday, but it stayed closed for maintenance all day and didn’t reopen until late evening. After swimming, my hair turned orange, and the blonde parts felt elastic. The room was dirty, the leather on the headboards was peeling all over the bed, and the bathroom smelled like sewage. The toilet clogged every time it was flushed. I told the front desk, and they brushed it off without caring. My family and I were really disappointed. The pictures had made the place look so nice, and for what we paid for a “suite,” I expected much better. We won’t be back.

We had a great time here with the kids, especially at the pool. The room was very clean, and I liked the breakfast. With picky eaters, I appreciate having yogurt and a choice of cereals. Parking was easy, and I was glad to see the safety features on the side doors. We’ll stay here again.

The breakfast was amazing for a little hotel. I got fried eggs every morning, and the ladies were so nice. Be sure to tip them. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the pillows were big, soft, and very good. The rooms are clean too, though the carpet needs updating and the bathroom door in room 120 needs fixing. The TV is a little old, but it’s big and movable, so you can watch it from anywhere in the room. They offer a complimentary alcoholic or nonalcoholic drink at night except Sundays. It was thoughtful, even if the options weren’t great: bottom-shelf rum and whisky, and Coors, while I’m a Corona girl. The front desk women are super nice, especially the girl who looks like Fiona from shameless. She was incredibly sweet. The pool is heated and open until 10 pm. The spa was hot too, though the floor needs pressure cleaning. They accept dogs, and there’s parking for a bobtail but not a full truck. Walmart is a block away. I recommend the place if you need a comfortable room with good amenities. Stay away from the sushi place next door!

I’d been highly recommended this hotel, and the breakfast was great. We were put in the annex building at check-in. The place is run down and needs repairs: the headboards were peeling and neglected, and the toilet clogged every time. I didn’t complain and just dealt with it. At checkout, I owed nothing, but on my way home I checked my bank account and saw another charge that day. When I called, the girl put me on hold to speak with a coworker, then said the fee was for deep cleaning. I tried to discuss it, but she said she’d tell the general manager I called and that I could speak with her. I asked for a manager, but no one came. The girl didn’t know when I should call back either, and I doubt I’ll hear anything. It’s a shame, because the night before I’d planned to leave a nice review. I think they should talk to someone before charging them.
