Best Western Cheyenne

Everything felt clean, and the location seemed safe. The place looks and smells new, as if it’s had a pretty complete renovation recently. I was comfortable in my room during my December 2025 stay at Hotel Cheyenne. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub, but the included breakfast the next morning was high quality.

A good affordable stop for one night while passing through Cheyenne. The room had plenty of space, though it felt a bit dated, and the bed was clean but not especially comfortable. The morning Manager was very nice, while the evening Manager was curt and unfriendly. Breakfast was included, which I appreciated, but it was lightly stocked with only basic choices.

Both rooms I was given had feather pillows, despite my specifically asking for a feather-free room because of a severe allergy. The front desk gentleman looked at me as if I were being unreasonable, then assured me the pillows were polyester. When I returned to ask for another room because the first one’s deadbolt wouldn’t lock, he asked whether I’d used anything in the room instead of apologizing. The second room seemed okay until I washed my face. The faucet sits too far back, so water runs onto the counter instead of into the sink unless it’s on full blast. This was poor attention to guest safety and comfort. Save yourself the hassle and stay next door.

The morning clerk was lovely when we checked out. He asked about our stay and where we were headed, then wished us a good journey. That helped make up for the check-in guy, who seemed interrupted from something in the back room. He wasn’t rude, but a smile and a friendly goodbye would’ve been nice. The hotel is a little aged, but well kept, clean, comfortable, and good value. Breakfast was decent, with scrambled eggs and waffles, though I’d have preferred bacon slices or sausage to the bacon bits. The coffee was quite stout and bitter, and better with half a cup of milk. It’s by the entryway rather than the dining area, so everyone was asking where to find it. Our tub drained poorly, and the shower curtain looked cut short at the bottom and ripped at the top. Those were minor issues for us since cleanliness and comfort come first, and we’d stay again.
