Travelodge by Wyndham Pendleton OR

I picked the wrong date by mistake and called within 30 minutes of making the reservation to change it. Management refused to change the date or refund me. I was willing to pay more for the correct night, but they kept the $95, so I paid for a night and never stayed. I can’t say anything about the room, since I wasn’t there.

It’s a really old place, though it was fairly clean otherwise, and we stayed warm enough despite the super hard beds. I chose it because it was Wyndham, but the parking was janky and there were weird spots on the sheets when I pulled them back. Someone was put in the room above us and walked around until 230, which was disappointing.

We come back whenever we’re in town because the price is good and the rooms are consistent. The rooms are clean and nice, and it’s an easy walk to downtown restaurants and entertainment. A few things to know: king rooms are on the ground floor and queen rooms are upstairs, with no elevator. Breakfast is very limited, and the laundry facility is outside in the cross-through hallway. Parking works for cars and pickups, but not vehicles towing a trailer.

It was a spendy night for $129.00. The room was clean, smelled great, and was conveniently located, but the TV remote barely worked and I couldn’t use the guide button. Worse, the tub didn’t drain when I went to shower, and I hate standing in dirty shower water. I was so tired I didn’t feel like looking somewhere else, though maybe I would have if I’d had more energy. I guess I expected perfection for that price.
