Miss sandy’s enthusiasm for showing us around was infectious. She clearly loves her job and was excited to share her beautiful place with my wife and me. We came from Pittsburgh for a weekend Valentine’s getaway. The establishment is old-fashioned and quite beautiful, with a dresser in our room dating back to the 1880s. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, home-style food in perfect portions.

This is a laid-back, convenient place for Hunter, with several common areas to hang out and a cool atmosphere. The owner is a delightful, helpful lady, and she cooks a very nice homemade breakfast. It’s a fantastic old-school bed and breakfast, close to Hunter and anything else you need. We’d definitely stay again.

The hostess, Sandy, is what makes this place special. Check-in was easy and immediately felt friendly and homey. When she learned it was just me and my sister, she brought an extra mattress for me without hesitation or an extra charge. Later, we came back without having eaten because nearby places were mostly cash-only and my ATM card was at home. Sandy immediately took out her own wallet and asked how much we needed, faster than my own mom would. The inn itself is clean, warm, cozy, and welcoming, with a lovely vintage feel and everything spotless and well maintained. Our room was spacious, the bathroom clean, and breakfast was beautifully made, honestly like something my mom would cook. It aims to feel like a home away from home, and for me it really will be my home whenever I visit the Catskills. It deserves the highest rating. Thank you, Sandy ❤️

Our first bed and breakfast stay was great. Sandy was a wonderful host, and the place is close to Hunter and loads of hiking. I highly recommend it.

The owner’s detailed explanations and the breakfast service were good. The room, though, was very small and musty, and the poor soundproofing meant footsteps upstairs kept disturbing my sleep.
