The service is what made this stay for us. One woman at the desk was lovely, polite, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They also accommodated our late checkout, which I know costs the hotel money. The beds were comfortable, the a/c worked well, and the shower got hot with good pressure, even though the old shower head leaked. There were a few dated things and repairs needed, but nothing compared with other hotels. The hotel was good despite the surrounding area, and the staff outweighed the issues we had with the room. If we come back, we already know where we're staying.

We appreciated being able to check out late. It gave us extra time to rest and get ready without rushing, and that made a real difference. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, so we had a relaxing stay. Breakfast was another highlight, everything was delicious.

Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and had plenty of choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, ready to help, and their hospitality made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. Everything went smoothly from check-in through check-out. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

Ravi and Diana made a real difference during my stay at Country Inn & Suites in San Antonio. They were welcoming, professional, and so helpful, and did extra to keep everything comfortable and running smoothly. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the location made it easy to get around. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Great service and a great stay.

The General Manager apologized and said he'd refund one night's stay and mail me the graduation poster so I could sign it and send it back. I hadn't asked for either. We had to make a big deal of the refund before it was issued, and the poster was never sent. He claimed he'd emailed, which wasn't true, and now he won't return our calls. We came for my daughter's BMT graduation on January 28th. The room was okay, except for a coach roach in the bathroom, and the spa wasn't working. The day after graduation, on Friday, I asked Maria if I could sign the graduating class poster they'd put out. She had an attitude and said no, that she'd put it away in the back, and basically didn't want to get it out. That upset me because they display those posters on the wall. I had originally posted about what happened, then the general manager called and bribed us to take it down. I did, but he didn't keep his word. As an Air Force family, I don't recommend staying here. What started as a great experience ended badly because of Country Inn and Suits. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
