La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Downtown

The breakfast was a highlight for me, with lots of choices, especially for vegetarians. The rooms were clean, roomy, comfortable, and seemed well maintained. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the whole stay was pleasant. I'd come back. One small thought: the reception staff stood the whole time. They did a great job, and I hope management considers adding high chairs so they can sit when they need to.

We felt right at home thanks to the warm, friendly staff, and the place smelled amazing from the moment we entered. Our room was roomy and had modern furniture and amenities. The location is convenient for San Antonio attractions, shops, and restaurants, and seems great for families with kids. We were so comfortable that we never got around to breakfast, lol. Our stay at La Quinta Downtown San Antonio surpassed what we expected, and we're grateful to the team.

Having parking here is a real plus for this area, and there's a market next door. The River Walk, Japanese Tea Garden, and a Top 50 barbecue spot are all within 15 minutes. Check-in and check-out were quick, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were spacious and mostly quiet. Breakfast was standard but good. There was a little dust in a few spots, nothing major. We were happy with the stay and would return.

The staff were friendly, and it was a nice hotel for a budget stay. The room was pleasant, though not as nice as others on this trip. We thought it would be closer to the river walk. There was no glassware, so wine had to go in plastic cups, and breakfast used Styrofoam plates and plastic forks. The breakfast selection was smaller than at the Hyatt in Austin, and there was no vegi sausage. A few small touches like those would've brought this up to five stars.
