After two bad experiences with Hilton, including heating problems, I gave La Quinta a try. I want a warm room when it's 50° outside, instead of having only air conditioning running. The old-style window unit here gave off good heat and kept me cozy while I slept. Breakfast was tasty and free, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly, funny, and professional. I saved about $60 on average, and the stay worked out well. I've joined La Quinta's rewards program and plan to book these hotels on my future travels.

Lupe and the rest of the front desk team were helpful and friendly. We appreciated the hospitality and would recommend this place to other families. Our family of five, including three kids aged five and under, had an amazing, cozy stay. We had two beds and a kitchen with a large fridge, stove, microwave, and all the dishes we needed.

This was an easy stop on our route, and the location was great. Our room was nice and practical, the key cards worked, and the water pressure was good. The only surprise was being quoted a $75 per night pet fee. We'd stayed at La Quintas for the previous two weeks of our road trip, and none had charged us more than $25 for our dog. I'm not sure whether that's really the policy or just this hotel's higher fee.

I've been here on both of my last two trips to San Antonio. The rooms are spacious and clean, and they welcome pets. The front desk staff are always there with a friendly greeting. I also hadn't seen parking lot security at other hotels, and having a guard watching the lot gave me an extra sense of security away from home.

The location was great, with lots of stores down the street and plenty of restaurants. Our room was clean when we arrived, and the front desk ladies were friendly. We really enjoyed the stay, and breakfast was delicious.
