The staff were especially helpful. They let me check in earlier than we’d agreed, which I really appreciated. My room at Kasa Hotel was spacious and had a small kitchen with cooking amenities, and I had a very good stay overall. A few things could be better: the entrance was hard to find, so more signs would help, and the mattress could use an upgrade. It would also be nice if complimentary luggage storage were available.

The location was perfect, and the staff took good care of me, responding quickly to my questions. I’d absolutely stay at Kasa South Loop again. The bed was the best part of the unit for me, and I slept really well. Blackout blinds might be a nice extra, though the light wasn’t too bad. Downstairs, the business center had all the coffee I wanted. I’d have liked more comfortable furniture. The couch and chairs, along with the kitchen table and chairs, were usable but not as comfortable as I prefer. The kitchen also had pots, pans, and dishes, but no coffee maker and could have been stocked better. That’s a small gripe since I wasn’t planning to cook much anyway, just a suggestion.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and Target is close for groceries. The convention center is about a 10-minute Uber ride away. The loft has a great urban feel, with simple but tasteful furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. The Chicago skyline and water views are amazing. It’s a good size for one person, a couple, or a couple with two kids.

Kasa made it easy to spend a couple of nights in Chicago. Check-in was simple, there was parking in the garage, and our room was really nice. We came for Beyond Wonderland Chicago and enjoyed exploring in the morning before the festival. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and a Target close by for groceries. I’d recommend staying here.

We arrived from the UK late in the day and were very happy with the stay once we got settled. The building was great, clean, and in a nice location. Getting inside was confusing at first. The man at the desk wasn’t helpful or clear about what to do, and told us to use the back entrance and lock the front door. We didn’t have a car, so going around the back didn’t make sense to us, and we were told we needed a code for that entrance. The website said our unit code would arrive before 4 pm, but it hadn’t, so I called the helpline to get it. After that, everything was straightforward. I’d recommend it to visitors from outside the US.
