Jason made a lasting impression. After I'd checked out, he brought out the luggage I'd left in storage with a big smile and great energy. The front desk team were efficient and helpful throughout, and they even supplied bottled water for all three rooms I booked. This was my third business visit to the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown/River North, and it remains my first choice. Michigan Avenue is only a short walk away, so it's easy to fit in dining and shopping around work. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member and have stayed at plenty of properties, but this one keeps delivering. I enjoyed a cocktail in my room while taking in the great downtown view. I'll be back for stay number four.

Davion and Latonya welcomed my mom and me when we arrived, and their kindness set the mood for the whole stay. The hospitality from them and the rest of the staff was so warm and accommodating. We had a lovely room with a beautiful view, and we enjoyed it enough that we're already planning another trip. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

I’m sleeping so well here. The rooms are huge, the bed is super comfortable, and the location is just right. Everyone working here has been lovely. Since I'm staying a little over two weeks, I also appreciate that the incidental deposit is charged once per visit instead of every night, unlike at some other hotels.

I came from Houston for Valentine's Day weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there's lots nearby. Michigan Avenue is an easy walk from the hotel. There's no bar on-site, but otherwise I have no complaints.

The location is wonderful, but my family and I didn't feel safe. The door wouldn't lock, and there was no security to reassure us. There was no management to call after hours either, and it felt awful knowing we had no way to secure the door. I plan to post a video on social media because nobody should have to pay for such a frightening experience.
