The Seneca

Korey in the leasing office gave us exceptional personal care. His attention to detail and extra effort were refreshing, impressive, and important to us, especially when so many places are run by AI bots. J.V. was a big help too, and we appreciated the personal attention from him. The front desk concierge team is a gem. The new management company took over a few years ago and has made some impressive, up-to-date renovations to the lobby and community areas. The whole team clearly cares about both current and prospective residents. This iconic 100-year-old former hotel is now an apartment complex, and it still has a strong work ethic, professionalism, and real hospitality. If you want spacious floor plans, great care, and a feeling of home in downtown Chicago near the shops, dining, and lakefront activities, the Seneca is an ideal place to live.

I toured Seneca with Korey a few weeks ago, and the whole process went so smoothly that I toured, applied, and signed my lease in under 48 hours. Seneca was the first building I saw during my apartment search. They were quick and responsive with my application, and I’m excited to move into the great neighborhood and be part of the community. At first, all the details about the building and units felt overwhelming since I’m a first-time renter on my own. Korey was always happy to go over things again and wanted me to have all the information before applying. He also helped me get a concession that had ended by the morning of the tour. He went to his manager to get approval for it, which was above and beyond. The front desk greeted me so warmly when I arrived. I think her name was Savannah, though I’m not sure, and she was lovely. I liked her energy and felt comfortable right away. Korey was wonderful too. Everyone gave me a great feeling about the building. Thank you, Seneca!

The building is well maintained and has great amenities, and the staff are wonderful. J.V. Murino and Korey are great property managers. When we had to end our lease because we were relocating out of state, the team was responsible and flexible about our situation.

This apartment has really become a lovely home, thanks to the people here. The front desk team and Korey are approachable, quick to answer questions, and always helpful. Every time I come back, they greet me with a warm “Welcome home.” The leasing team helped me move from another city to Chicago last year and made everything easy. This year I was out of the country when it was time to renew my lease, and the leasing manager JV took care of the whole process even though he was new to the building. He was responsive and made everything smooth and stress-free.
