West Loop High-end 2BR Walkable City Views

My experience here, at almost $2800 a month, was mediocre at best. Management treated me condescendingly, and the place felt overpriced at $2335/month for underwhelming amenities. Leasing was friendly until I moved in. There was a $50 rent increase at lease end, and it never felt like much of a community, just like I was a number. I left the apartment spotless and was still charged for damage. It smells like a dollar store now. Parking costs $300, and there's a waitlist, though there is plenty of free parking around the area. Only a few cars were broken into or smashed during the year I was there, so lock your doors. There was theft in the building. I didn't have a problem with the homeless guy in the alley, but you'll spend a lot of time going out that way, especially with dogs. Construction is about to start next door, which will obstruct west-facing views.

I moved to Sage from another country and came away with only positive things to say. The team supported me from the start of my lease through the end of it. The building and amenities were always clean and working, and maintenance was excellent. Thanks for making those 16 months a great experience. 5/5

I've lived at Sage for a year and a half and absolutely love it. The amenities, office and front desk staff, and maintenance have all been great. Prices are comparable to other buildings nearby, and I really think it's the best value for the money. Both west- and east-facing views are lovely. From the east you see the downtown skyline; facing west, there aren't many buildings, and you get a beautiful sunset, so keep that in mind when choosing. Big shoutout to Chris and Zanita at the front desk. They're always kind, remember names, and say hello to my dog every day. I enjoy living here and would recommend Sage to anyone looking for a home in West Loop.

Perry, the Leasing Manager, was incredibly patient and kind with my friend, who isn't fluent in English. He spoke slowly and clearly while helping them, a visiting scholar from Korea who had just signed a lease. I was there to help, and was really impressed by the management team. Orlanda at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, too. The building seems very well managed. If I were looking for an apartment in the West Loop, this would be my first choice after such a great first impression.
