It's a historic building converted into hotel rooms and apartments, and feels unique and cozy rather than like an everyday box hotel. We rented two rooms, a two-bedroom apartment and a studio-style room, and both had kitchens. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. If you're in the Chicago area and want something different from a standard hotel, give Pilsen Roadhouse a call. Calling them directly gets a better deal than the booking site.

The room was spacious and had eclectic decor, and the price was right. It's in a perfect spot if you're going to a concert at Thalia Hall. There's no receptionist; your room code is sent before you arrive. The bed was a little lumpy, but we still slept okay.

This was such a beautiful place for a getaway. The owners were kind and cool, and we were grateful to have found the hotel. It was hard to leave. We can't wait to return soon, and whenever we're in Chicago. 💜 Kenya & Pete ☮
