Quality Inn near Manatee Springs State Park

We had a clean room and could leave our dive gear hanging outside on the banister to dry while we relaxed with the door open. The location was perfect for diving at devils den and blue grotto. It’s about 17 minutes from “treasure camp” restaurant, where I had the best food of my life! The online listing said breakfast was included, which was technically true, but the choices were just waffles and cereal, with no sausage, bacon, or eggs. I’d recommend this place for diving the springs and rainbow river.

For the price, it was okay, and my walk-in rate was twenty dollars less than the online price. There aren’t many options around here, so maybe that’s worth considering. The location was good and it wasn’t very noisy, though the rooms feel a bit old. The floor was clean, but there was still a strange lingering urine smell from pets. The main problem was the very dim lighting. Every lamp was like a nightlight, and I had to use my flashlight to find clothes in my suitcase. I’m not kidding. The old spring mattress was sprung, too.

We stayed during the Cedar Key Seafood Festival 2025 and would happily come back. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, ironing board and iron, plus plenty of USB ports for charging. The AC and heater both worked great. I also loved the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower and the body lotion dispenser by the sink. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities were great. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We’d definitely recommend the hotel and look forward to another stay.

The workers were really nice, and the place felt safe. Given the area, I’d rate it four stars, though it could use updates. Most of the outlets didn’t work, and the shower needs some attention.
