The rooms were clean and did the job, and the location is handy if you’re passing through. But the staff were rude and dismissive at both check-in and breakfast. After 10 p.m., following a day on the road since 9 a.m., my husband asked the clerk to check whether our double queen room was prepaid. The clerk had said, “for the double queen it’s 315,” meaning the room number, and looked at him like he was an idiot for asking. At breakfast, when I asked about milk, the woman huffed, waved toward it, and said impatiently, “right there.” We just got coffee and left. I’d look elsewhere if basic kindness matters to you.

The bed and pillows were great, but room 220 had no hot water in the shower at all. Water also wouldn’t drain from either the tub or sink, and the refrigerator didn’t work. Stay at the Holiday Inn!

A roomy, comfortable place to stop on the way through. Check-in was friendly and informative, the coffee was good, and the bed was a little soft. It’s close to the highway, restaurants, and fuel, while still being far enough from the noise.

The beds are comfortable, and the price isn’t too bad. It’s not the worst place, better than a Motel 6 and definitely doable for the money. The breakfast was two-star quality, though. The room setup is odd: there’s a long table right in front of the TV, in a strange spot in the bedroom. I’d give it four stars.
