Checkout was rough too. The staff spoke rudely and hurried me out, making me feel like a nuisance instead of a paying guest. During the stay, nobody apologized or offered compensation for the time and trouble. I waited about 20 minutes at the desk before anyone acknowledged me, and one staff member plainly ignored me. When I finally got someone’s attention, I was told there were no rooms, though I later learned that wasn’t true. It took three hours to get a room. Once inside, it was freezing, and the heater didn’t work. I had to ask for a space heater. From start to finish, my stay at the Executive Inn was incredibly disappointing. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I won’t return or recommend it until customer service and the guest experience improve.

A family member booked this for me, and it ranks among the ten worst hotels I’ve stayed in, even though I travel on a budget. There are no windows, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the check-in woman had an attitude. Cars sped up and down the street within ten minutes of our arrival. It didn’t feel like a great area, between a gas station and fast food places. The room was just above freezing when we came in because the unit was off. The blankets were stained. The only thing that kept me from sleeping in my car was the heat, which maxes out at 75. Perfect for Midwest winters.

I stayed at this Inn for a week, and the staff were unfriendly throughout. At checkout they kept my deposit, apparently because they don’t know bleach can be used in the washer.

No breakfast, but there’s coffee in the lobby. The room was clean, and the location is handy, with many places reachable on foot.

The front desk woman was really nice and professional, though I didn’t think the location was great. The bed felt comfortable but made me itchy, maybe bugs? I’m not sure. It was noisy, being between a gas station and McDonald’s.
