Sleep Inn & Suites Klamath Falls

The breakfast was a highlight, with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels, muffins, and coffee. The kitchen clerk kept cleaning and restocking, and even found us some unsweetened oatmeal packets. There’s also a casino across the parking lot with a restaurant that looks nice. We had a king room and a king suite for our adult children and baby. The suite worked well for the family, and the check-in clerk was especially friendly and helpful. Our room had a thermostat problem: the heater ran at a setting of 58, when it wasn’t close to that temperature, and the AC ran at 80, also nowhere near the set temperature. I hope they fix it when I report it. The shower was great, though my husband found it too pokey. He’s boney and I’m the opposite! The bed was okay and the pillows were great, but the comforter seems to have been washed badly, leaving each little square of filling bunched into a ball. Bathroom lights were dim, and the fan ran constantly with no switch to turn it off. The TV remote was also hard to use because it needed new batteries.

A comfortable stay, with an easy check-in and a friendly, helpful front desk. I think we caught the off-season, so the room was a good deal. The modern amenities were nice, especially the shower. Some people mentioned a sulfur smell in the water, but I think it’s just well water. It reminded me of my grandparents’ water. Breakfast was more than I expected, with hot food, make-your-own waffles, yogurt, and more.

Compared with the other places to sleep nearby, this was perfect for our Crater Lake trip and the best hotel in the area. I’ve stayed in both exclusive five-star and one-star hotels, so I’ve got a range to compare it with. The staff clearly take pride in the property. The receptionist was friendly, informative, and handled all the paperwork. Rooms were very clean, common areas well kept, and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was awesome. It was also quiet, with no road noise or other outside activity.

The staff made a real difference. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and made sure I had dinner and felt safe while traveling alone. Another staff member I met in the elevator was kind and welcoming too. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was included. It’s a nice hotel, just remember that the town is very small and secluded. I’ll definitely come back sometime. It’s probably the best hotel around.
