There was a lovely distant view of the water from the room, and the whole place felt peaceful and quiet. The faucets had a strong flow of nice hot water, and there were two sinks. I was impressed by how clean the room was, and the beds had mattress encasements. It also had a coffee maker, an iron and ironing board, and closet hangers. Big shout-out to the staff and management! I hadn’t expected to share a room with my aunt; we were out of town for a homegoing service. Once I realized where I’d be staying, I felt reluctant. I’m terrified of bedbugs and rarely sleep away from home, so I inspected the room right away. I was pleasantly surprised. If you’re in this part of town and don’t need anything flashy or lots going on, you should give this place a stay. It was a beautiful experience.

Breakfast is hot, fresh, and very good each day, though there are only a few tables and chairs in the office. Some mornings we ate there, and other days we took it back to our room and ate on the balcony. I loved the rose bushes out front, and the staff were helpful and kind. The hotel is a relaxing hidden gem, set along the bay near downtown Chincoteague. Shops and restaurants are within a reasonable walk, and every room has a balcony with some kind of water view.

It was the off-season, so things were quiet, but the staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room was clean and looked fresh. The desk staff gave us useful ideas for places to go and things to do. The young woman preparing breakfast was cheerful, friendly, and courteous. Looking forward to visiting again.

The room and HVAC felt a little dated, but everything was very clean and didn’t have the usual musty smell you can get at a waterfront hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub, though both looked clean.

Comfortable, solid rooms, a lovely spot on the bay, and a great breakfast. The staff were amazing, too. Definitely a hidden gem.
