Chino Motel

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the location is handy for restaurants, shops, and main roads. Even so, it was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were so friendly and willing to help with whatever I needed. Chino Motel was good value for the money, and I'd recommend it for a pleasant, hassle-free stay. I'd happily return! 😊

The room smelled strongly of marijuana when I came in with my young child, and I started feeling itchy with a rash almost as soon as I entered. There were two dead flies on the ceiling directly above the table where we ate. The rooms were nasty. Maybe the cleaners are lazy, underpaid, or rushed because they have too many rooms, but whatever the reason, it wasn't cleaned well. The guy also asked for a $20 deposit in cash only. I don't know why it had to be cash.

People downstairs were laughing late into the night, and for two nights I had the feeling that tiny amounts of paint or aerosol fumes were waking me whenever I lay down to sleep. I put you up, I put you down, and spin you around Thoth from midnight to 3 AM. Your focus shouldn't be on what you want, it should be on what I want! Dizzy, what happens at night!

The room had brown marks all over the walls, holes behind the doors, graffiti inside, no toilet paper holder, and a toilet seat that didn't fit. There was no pool, coffee maker, or other amenities, and no food nearby or even a vending machine. The photos say more than I can. The price was advertised as $77 on Google, but when I arrived it was $130. They also required a cash deposit. Maybe that's why they don't have the money to repair damage from previous guests. This is the nastiest, most overpriced hotel I've stayed in. Vagabond or Motel 6 seem like five star resorts next to it. Heed the warning and stay somewhere else.
