Keystone Hotel

My night was very quiet, probably because it was late in the off season and there weren't many people around. The woman at the desk was friendly, and I ended up with a room with two full sized beds after three keys led me to rooms that hadn't been made up. On the third try, there was even a senior man in bed in one of them, luckily clothed and relaxed about it. Turns out he'd been given the wrong room too. I stayed in a small room here in 2018, and that one was clean, smelled fine, and felt comfortable for September. This time the room was okay and smelled clean, and the linens were clean too. It's an old, outdated place, but that's what you'd expect from a rustic motel in an old rustic town. I didn't like the dirty heat vents over my head. At least they could paint them. You can't set the temperature yourself. There was a desktop fan, but the heat system would run briefly, switch to cool air, then repeat. The water pressure was wonderful. They only left one roll of toilet paper, while most motels leave two. Lucky for me my bowels were quiet, lol. There was breakfast upstairs, and coffee and tea were available around the clock. The coat rack beside the bed had hangers I bumped my head on a couple of times. Nearly poked an eye out. My rating is average, three stars, not excellent and not poor.
