Buffalo Lodge and Grill

The rooms were fine, but our stay for the chili cookoff cost way too much. Next time I’ll drive 30 minutes north and find a room at a reasonable price.

We found a good rate compared with places near Cheyenne, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and homey. We arrived late, tired, and worn out from the road, but the owner/manager was welcoming and helpful. Our tarp had been damaged while we were traveling with a load, and she gave us a replacement. There’s coffee and a basic cold continental breakfast in the morning, plus a cute soda fountain in town that serves breakfast. Buffalo Lodge was a very welcome place to rest while traveling. I’d recommend it to anyone passing through nowhere Wyoming.

We needed somewhere to sleep for the night while passing through on I-25, and the friendly staff got us checked in quickly when we arrived around 9:45 pm. It’s an old motel, so the place is pretty basic, but it was very clean. They also had breakfast pastries and coffee. I’d definitely recommend it.

I’m in the area for work and will definitely stay here again. Shelby was really friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. There’s an open game room upstairs, and breakfast included coffee, pastries, orange juice, cereal, and yogurt. A great place to stay in Chugwater!
