La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Diego Chula Vista

The hotel is close to the highway, which makes getting on the road convenient, though the sound insulation may not be enough if you’re very sensitive to noise. The pool isn’t heated, just FYI. I liked seeing the staff hug when greeting each other and celebrate an employee’s birthday. They seemed to enjoy one another’s company. Breakfast stayed open late, and they even warned us before closing it. The renovated rooms were comfortable, the staff friendly, and breakfast was great, with egg and cheese muffins for vegetarians.

There are lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance, and the location was nice. The customer care team worked hard and gave great service. Breakfast was very good, well stocked, and the coffee was yummy. The rooms could’ve been cleaner. My husband has OCD and always wipes the floors where we stay, and this room was among the worst we’ve seen. It was also really loud, with road and freeway traffic coming through as if the windows and door were open.

I came with my husband and kids, and this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The front desk was very welcoming, room service was quick and easy, and our renovated room was super clean. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. There are security cameras watching your vehicle, too. Perfect for families.

The included breakfast is nice, and the rooms were clean, renovated, and exceptional. The hotel is right by the freeway. Parking is limited since they share it with Dennis restaurant. I’ve stayed twice and seen the deposit fail to come back to my card both times. If the deposit isn’t returned, the price ends up feeling overpriced.
