Kinley Cincinnati Downtown, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This is a good spot downtown to unwind, eat, or have a drink, and it's within walking distance of the Arnoff center. The beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unexpected Burgers & Bourbon, the onsite restaurant, is fantastic, and the lobby bar is nice too. Yuvaraj deserves a special thanks for his thoughtful kindness during my stay. I used valet parking, and that team was helpful as well.

Deante welcomed us warmly at the front desk, and the service was excellent from the moment we walked in. Our room was clean, and the gym was nice, with a Peloton bike that was fun to use. We had a cozy drink at the bar before going out in OTR, then breakfast before heading off. It was a perfect send-off. We'd definitely stay here again for a staycation.

I really enjoyed my stay and felt safe in the very good location. I used the bar and room service, and liked the live piano music. Deante deserves a special mention for being professional and helpful. He's a valuable person to have on any staff. I rarely give five stars, and I'm tough to impress, but this was a fantastic experience.

I eventually gave up waiting and reported the charge to my bank as a fraudulent credit card transaction. The hotel had billed me almost twice the amount on the invoice, said they’d look into it, and never followed up. The manager didn’t answer my email either. On the phone, someone said they couldn’t see an overcharge and that my card had been billed correctly, but the statement shows a much higher amount for that same line item. It’s unacceptable that they wouldn’t respond to something this serious. They also don’t offer laundry service.
