I travel for work, and this is the hotel I choose every time I come back. The price is fair and hard to beat nearby, and the location feels safe and convenient. It's usually pretty quiet too. Guests are kind to one another, which seems to follow from how kind the staff are. The rooms are a good size. They check cleanliness daily, bring fresh towels, and empty the trash as needed. The staff work hard and are friendly. The woman at the front desk is the kindest hotel manager I've ever had the pleasure of talking to. Thanks to everyone who works here and runs the place. You go above and beyond!

We left without staying. There was hair in the bed, the trash can was disgusting under the liner, and the floor was the worst. Within minutes, our feet had hair, dirt, and all kinds of gross stuff stuck to them. The place just wasn't clean.

The parking lot was quiet and pleasant even with all the rooms full, and everyone was respectful. The front desk woman was extremely nice, chatted with us, and made us feel welcome. We had a relaxing stay, enjoyed the TV, and wished we could've stayed longer. We were here for the first time on October 26th/27th and liked every minute. The room was very clean, with no bugs at all. The recent remodel looks nice, everything felt comfortable, and the beds were cozy. The pillows could be better, but we had no trouble getting extras. We visit Cisco often to see family, so this will definitely be our permanent home away from home. Thanks, Lone Star Inn, for a quality stay at a very reasonable price. We'll be back next time.

After a really bad experience at another hotel, which I had to cancel the same day, I took a chance on this place. The owners are very kind and clearly take pride in their business. You can't beat the price, and it's close to Abilene. I highly recommend staying here.

The shower water never gets warm, and the towels are yellow. There's dirt on the floor that's been there since my first day, plus stains on the same sheets I've had all week. The bottom of the shower curtain is brown and has boogers on it. I got back from work at 7 pm and found the beds made, but the sheets were still the same ones with the same brown stain. Absolutely disappointing. I travel for a living, and this is bottom of the barrel.
