The shower was nasty, though the room itself was clean. The walls are so thin I could hear the people sharing my connecting door flush the toilet and sneeze. I also ended up hearing some intimate, not-PJ noises. Glad I didn’t have kids with me.

The staff were pleasant and the location was perfect for what we needed, but I wouldn’t stay again. The property feels very tired, with scuffed wood everywhere, and the room needed a good cleaning and vacuuming. There was hair in the shower, and within my first 30 minutes in the room, something bit me, hopefully only a spider.

Check-in and checkout were easy, and the location was great. The place looks a little dated, but everything worked well, including the showers, which had good pressure. The food shop/restaurant had a limited menu, but everything we tried was really good. The breakfast sandwich was a fresh, delicious take on the classic, with avocado and arugula.

The desk staff were pretty good, but there were problems with the room. We found a pile of cookies under the couch/pull-out bed, and there was mold in the shower. The fire doors were damaged on two floors. The one pictured was on the 3rd floor.

The location is convenient, right by the freeway, so it’s quick to get around. A mall and Costco are within walking distance, though having a car is better. The room was clean, with no smoke smell, and pretty standard for a Courtyard. Nothing special. I have titanium status but didn’t get an upgrade.
