The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very clean, spacious, and well put together. The walls and furniture were in excellent condition. There’s a fridge, microwave, bathtub and shower, strong water pressure, an iron and ironing board, and a large TV with cable. The bathroom is roomy too, with a separate toilet area, a big vanity and mirror, and a timed heating lamp.

I recommend this place for its price and location, but definitely not for families with children. I’m a single mom who recently lost her home. My partner, my son, and I stayed here for a little over three weeks. I work two jobs, one during the day and one at night. We don’t do drugs, kept our room clean, were quiet, and were polite. After my night shift, I came in to pay for more nights and was told I couldn’t rent there anymore. There was no explanation, just a note from the manager to the night staff. I still haven’t been given a reason or gotten my deposit back. There’s a lot of drug activity here. I stepped out of my car and found a needle on the ground. When people point the activity out to management, they don’t care. Pictures don’t help, and people are basically told to look the other way.

Shayna was wonderful, and the customer service was excellent. I’d stay again. The room was tidy, and the bed was comfortable, with clean sheets that weren’t too firm or too soft. The bathroom was clean but a little old and outdated. The shower had great pressure and hot water, and the firm, starched linens absorbed water well. The only downside for us was the view: opening the drapes showed a fence and a small courtyard. If you want a better view, ask for the second or third floor. It wasn’t a big deal to us.

The staff were amazing and unique, and the rooms and hotel itself were great. We’ll be coming back, but a few things could make stays easier. We had two teenage girls with us and, with no vacancies, had to take a room with one king bed and put them on the hardwood floor. There weren’t any cots or even a futon couch. Futons in rooms with single beds would help in situations like ours. Breakfast wasn’t very good. It was just two kinds of cereal, yogurt, toast, and bagels, which in my opinion isn’t even a basic breakfast. They should add a few hot items. Coffee is available all day in the office, but basic rooms don’t have coffee pots. Those additions would make the place more accommodating for out-of-town guests.
