My dog and I spent one night here before getting an early start up Scotchman's Peak. The hosts were so welcoming to my big, fluffy husky, and the clean room had what I needed to get ready for a day of hiking. It’s no luxury hotel, but the price was amazing and the location gives you great access to hikes and the lake and river. I’ll definitely come back next spring or summer for a longer stay.

The bed was really comfortable, and the room was clean. The office staff were so nice and helpful that they even lent me an iron and ironing board. Their dogs are adorable too.

The kitchenette had everything I needed to cook, including plates, glasses, and utensils. My room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was attentive and made a personal effort to help. A great little motel.
