The price was great, which left us with more spending money for our plans, and what we got matched what we expected. Staff were friendly, customer service was great, and they respected our privacy. They cleaned the room and brought fresh towels daily. I’m sure they’d leave you alone if you asked them not to come in. Breakfast was good, too. Highly recommend.

The room was filthy when I arrived. The toilet seat had urine on it, Modelo cans were scattered around, the sheets were covered in ink, and there was a thick brown substance in the tub. The pool area was closed, and roaches crawled over the breakfast bar counters. For my first night, the phone agent quoted $50, so I could have understood that amount. At check-in, though, they charged me $50 per night plus another $200 in “taxes and fees,” with no explanation or receipt. I still don’t know what those extra charges were for, and they were simply put on my card. I called the number I booked through and spent 15 minutes trying to reach a person. Once I did, I asked the front desk employee to email receipts for my work, without complaining about the room or asking for a refund. He said he couldn’t help because I booked through a third party. I explained that I only needed receipts for charges made at the hotel kiosk, but he still refused. Then I spent 30 minutes on hold with reservation support and was told nobody could help at the time, but someone would email me when they could. I’m confused and frustrated that such a poor stay cost so much, and I can’t even get receipts that match what my card was charged. It wasn’t even my money, but the whole experience was still incredibly frustrating.

We woke up on the second day to ants crawling over the bed and nightstand. The bathroom light was another problem: its motion sensor was outside the bathroom, and it only stayed on for 60 seconds, so forget about showering and you’d better pee fast. The location is great for Kings Island, but staff were rarely at the counter and refused to fix the light.

The place was unsanitary from the start. My room clearly hadn’t been cleaned before I arrived: urine covered the toilet seat, Modelo cans were scattered around, the sheets had ink all over them, and the tub had a thick brown substance in it. The pool area was closed, and roaches were crawling on the breakfast bar counters. I was quoted $50 a night when I booked by phone, but at the hotel kiosk they charged $50 per night plus $200 in “taxes and fees.” Those extra charges weren’t explained clearly, and no itemized receipt was provided. The money was simply charged to my card. I needed receipts for work reimbursement, so I called the same number I used to book. It took about 15 minutes to get through to someone. I politely asked the front desk employee to email the receipts. I didn’t mention the room conditions or ask for money back. He said he couldn’t help because I’d booked through a third party. I explained that I only needed receipts for charges made at the hotel, but he still refused. After another 30 minutes on hold with reservation support, I was told no one could help then and that someone would email me later. I’m still confused and frustrated. The stay was dirty and uncomfortable, cost far more than I’d been quoted, and I can’t get basic documentation for the charges. If cleanliness, clear pricing, and basic customer service matter to you, I’d look elsewhere.

I was so tired I was nearly falling asleep at the wheel, so I couldn’t just leave. The room cost almost $200, though it should’ve been $50 a night. The bathroom floor hadn’t been vacuumed, and there was hair stuck to the shower wall and towels. The bed felt decades old, with the same dip from someone sleeping in one spot, and the sheets felt like sandpaper. Breakfast wasn’t good either: cheap microwave bacon and eggs, and the pancake maker left the pancakes undercooked, so nobody was using it.
