Hampton Inn Cincinnati/Kings Island

The first time we stayed, there were no issues. The latest visit wasn't as clean as we'd have liked: the room smelled as though dogs had been locked in it before us, and there was hair all over. The person checking out before us had the same complaint, so hopefully they'll clean better. Otherwise, we've had good experiences and will definitely come back next year. We liked the breakfast and coffee, and the pool looks decent. Rooms have a microwave and fridge that actually gets cold, comfy beds, okay TV, and showers.

Ms Nancy is fantastic with the breakfast area. She keeps it glistening clean and well stocked, and even offered to make another guest a waffle while he ate. She'll talk with anyone who wants to share about life. She's a wonderful human, and the staff was terrific!

I got to the hotel after nine at night and found that the TV didn't work. The staff member on duty suggested moving me to another room, but I can watch TV on my phone, so I declined. Then I couldn't connect to the internet either. After I asked more questions, I learned the whole building had problems, so another room wouldn't have helped. The juice dispenser was out of order, and so was the pool. Please see my photos. It was a disappointing stay.

We arrived six hours ago and are already at another hotel. We had family coming in from out of town and booked five rooms. After a few hours, we found bed bugs in three of them. They came out after the lights had been off for a while. The showers had mold, and the rooms were absolutely disgusting. We left immediately with our things, so I didn't get a picture of the bugs. The guy at the front desk was amazing, but I will never recommend this hotel. The pool was broken, too.
