Havasu Landing Resort & Casino

The room was lovely, peaceful, and so quiet. One thing to watch: the restaurant closes at 9 and doesn't open until 8. I also wasn't told the first ferry ride from AZ is free for resort guests until I was digging in my purse for my ticket while juggling my bags. Check the posted ferry schedule too, since the hotel staff gave me the wrong information and I missed it. It ended up being a blessing in disguise, but at first I wanted to cry.

The pool could use some shade, though I can see how umbrellas might blow over. There's a nice beach area and good hotter, too. The rooms were really nice, and there's a great bar and restaurant alongside a nice little casino. It's a beautiful spot across the lake from Lake Havasu City.

I wasn't planning to end up here, but it turned out pretty good. Elise at the front desk was awesome and very accommodating. She talked me out of canceling and helped get me set up. The quiet and the lake views and access make this a great little escape. Just be ready for how secluded it is: it's on Native land, and the area has only the casino, with no tables, a restaurant, a bar, and a few markets that close early. If you don't have a car, come prepared. Staying overnight gets you a free first ferry ride there and back from Lake Havasu City.

The room had a beautiful view, and we love taking the ferry into havasu city on weekends. The little casino is small but lively. I was glad there was a refrigerator in the room, though it didn't get very cold. The coffee in the lobby is much better than what's in the room, and I loved the mini dove soap bar in the bathroom...
