I was pleasantly surprised by the price for two nights, so I booked right away. It’s very reasonable and affordable, and this will definitely be my go-to hotel whenever I come to Washington. The room had nice amenities, and I absolutely loved the Jacuzzi Spa bathtub. I’d stayed here a few years back and remembered the neat spiral staircase. I hadn’t realized this was the same place when I booked. The rooms are being upgraded now. Super cool hotel, and a great experience.

I’ve given this place several chances, but I won’t spend any more of my hard-earned money here. The staff can be friendly, but I don’t find the service reliable or professional enough to justify the headache. It’s a shame, because the hotel itself is nice. When I pay for a hotel room, I expect better customer service than at motel 6. River tree in needs new management. On my first stay, everything was great except the housekeeper ignored the “do not disturb” sign. Thank goodness I had the top latch on, so she couldn’t open the door. The second time, they put us in a room under construction. That showed poor communication between staff and management. They offered a free upgrade and made it right, but I wasn’t impressed. During my third stay, the guest next door in the shared pet room wouldn’t stop her dogs from barking. I can tolerate a lot, and the room was clean and comfy, so I put in earplugs and tried to ignore it. But at 9pm on my second night, the dogs were going crazy, stirring up and antagonizing my dogs. I called the front desk, but they kept barking. I was woken again at 7am the next morning. I went to the desk and said the other guest had made my stay uncomfortable. The red-haired woman said she’d refund the $80 pet fee. I gave them one more chance on my fourth stay, coming from out of town to visit family. I’d arrived early on every previous visit and had always been allowed to check in early. If my room wasn’t ready, they’d usually put me in a different one. This time, manager Lynn insisted nothing was ready. First, she said my room type wasn’t available. I asked why she couldn’t accommodate me as before when other rooms were available for 70$ online. Then she gave me several more excuses. I told her that after everything I’d put up with, I didn’t care about their hardships any longer. We agreed to cancel my reservation.

We’ve been staying here for a few years and usually love the pool, location, and service. Breakfast used to be something we enjoyed, but this visit was a letdown. We were there an hour before closing both days. The first morning, the breakfast potatoes had stale tater tots mixed in. The second, they’d run out of most things. They should also get fitted sheets. I spent the night trying to keep a flat sheet on the mattress.

I chose this place because it fit my work budget, and the beds turned out to be surprisingly comfortable. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the area.
