We came in late, and the people at the Vernal, UT Motel 6 went out of their way to help us. They were more than friendly and accommodating. We ended up chatting with the owner when we checked in, then spent time visiting with the owners and other guests in the parking lot. One couple had just married and were from Spain, and it was fun hearing about their wedding and the wedding of the owner's sister. We’d been on the road all day looking for an inexpensive place, and this worked out well. The room was clean and a good size. It’s an older motel, so there were a couple of issues: the bathroom was sticky and the toilet flush a little finicky, but nothing major. It wasn’t a five-star suite, but we got a great night’s sleep and a much-needed shower before getting back on the road. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

We had two rooms for one night, and both were very clean. The nonsmoking rooms really were nonsmoking, and everything worked. WiFi was fast and great, and the front desk was awesome and helpful. It felt so safe that we almost thought we could sleep with the doors unlocked. They’re very pet friendly, and we’d stay again.

For a bargain price, this was a really nice stay. It’s the best Motel 6 I’ve stayed at: the room was clean and nicely decorated, and the TV, fridge, microwave, and everything else worked. The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

Vernal was just a random place to sleep for one night on our 4,300 mile motorcycle trip, but now I’ll visit again. The motel parking lot was spotless, and the streets were clean too. You can tell a lot about a place by looking at its streets and parking lots. The fair price, friendly, hardworking people, and good variety of local and national shops all felt like what’s good about America. Good job, Motel 6. Good job, Vernal, UT.

For a comfy night’s sleep while passing through sleepy Vernal, Motel 6 is a good option. The rooms are cheap and better than some Motel 6 locations in other states. The manager and his wife are very nice and hospitable. Great stay, would recommend.
