Right off the highway, the hotel was easy to get to and made a great stop while traveling. Our room was fresh and clean, and the pool was warm and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was hot. I highly recommend staying here on a trip.

I really enjoyed the stay itself. The rooms were very nice, and housekeeping was very nice too. But I’ll never return because the front desk wouldn’t help resolve my issues. They wouldn’t honor the military discount that the website said they would, or accept our tax exemption because my husband is disabled. They also charged much more than the online reservation price. I’ve called the main number to get it sorted out, but still haven’t had luck. Check your receipt before leaving and look for extra charges they’ve added. The difference was ridiculous. I can’t help wondering if someone is raising the price and pocketing the difference. I wish I’d stayed somewhere else.

We felt at home here thanks to the very friendly staff, and the hotel was clean. It could use a bit of updating, but otherwise it’s a nice place. I’d stay again.

We usually choose Hampton Inns because we know what to expect and they accept our dog. We’d stay at this location again. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable. I brought my own pillow; my husband was happy with the one he chose from the four. It was quiet on a Tuesday night, though the parking lot wasn’t very full, which may explain that. There’s a gas station right by the hotel, plenty of grass for walking the dog, and the dog station had bags. When we arrived in the evening, the lobby had fresh bananas and apples plus individually wrapped cookies. Breakfast was typical for Hampton Inn: three items in a warmer, waffles, yogurt, coffee, and grab-and-go bags at the front desk. It’s a two-story hotel with ice machines on both floors. You can use the elevator or the open stairs in the lobby, which was handy with the dog. There’s a covered entrance for loading and unloading and luggage carts in the lobby. I spotted a picnic and seating area behind the hotel while walking the dog. The TV let us temporarily sign in to some of our streaming services. WiFi had a free tier, with a paid option for faster service. The Hilton app mentioned construction, but we heard nothing. I only saw metal storage containers behind the hotel, like Dexter’s mother. A few small hassles: the room had just one floor towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth for two adults. We went to the desk and got a full set of clean bath linens without any trouble. The TV showed the Hilton welcome screen when we arrived, but the remote didn’t work, and there were no buttons on the TV to control it. We went back to the desk for new batteries. The room was on the small side, with little space between the bed and TV. The TV didn’t swivel toward the small table. A rolling chair faced roughly toward it, but the fixed chair had its back to the screen and couldn’t be placed elsewhere. You pretty much had to sit on the bed to watch TV. The hallways were narrow too, and it could be difficult to get through with a luggage cart, or possibly a wheelchair, when housekeeping carts were in the way.

The room looked beautiful when we walked in, and the coffee was free, delicious, and the best part of the visit. Service was alright, though I felt uneasy because the woman at the desk seemed possibly inebriated. The lobby felt cluttered. Breakfast was warm and lasted long enough, but it was very poorly seasoned. Then we sat on the bed and felt the lumpy pillows. We knew it would be a long night, and it was. We woke up aching and exhausted because the bed was so hard and the pillows had lumps. I’d avoid this inn since the whole point is to sleep, and we couldn’t get a good night’s rest.
