Radisson Hotel Louisville North

We were here for our son’s wrestling tournament, and the hotel had a comfortable, family feel despite being an older, huge property with several buildings. There are lots of amenities for the family. As a Choice hotel member, I also appreciated how easy check-in and checkout were. April at the front desk and Sam, the manager, were friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our needs. Thank you!

We always like stopping here on our way through Louisville. The price is hard to beat for the quality, as long as you remember it isn’t a five-star hotel. The front desk staff are consistently friendly, the rooms are clean, and we enjoy both the indoor and outdoor pools. The restaurants on site are great too. 🤩

The property has amenities and potential, but everything else is handled so poorly. The rooms are very outdated, with paint peeling everywhere, and a friend’s room smelled like cigarette smoke. Our keycards wouldn’t work, and staff blamed it on us holding them too close to a phone, even though that’s never happened to me at another hotel. The lobby was unbearably hot, and I was sweating in short sleeves. Staff were extremely rude. Our ice bucket had mold in it, and I woke up with bites all over my hand, though I can’t tell if they were from bedbugs or a spider. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in.

I’m Diamond status with both Hilton and Marriott, and this stay fell well below what I expect from Radisson. I was on a last minute business trip and almost everything else was booked, so there weren’t many alternatives. You get what you pay for, I suppose, but the hotel is old and in desperate need of renovation or removal. The rooms are dingy, the AC is incredibly loud, and there’s a moldy smell. The bathroom showed wear too. If you have another option, I’d look elsewhere. Sorry Radisson, this place doesn’t meet your historical standards.
