Super 8 Clear Lake

The price was good, and the guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I needed somewhere to stay after work because of the weather, but the room was another story. There was no heat at all. It was so cold that my son and I slept in our coats and hats and were still freezing. The towels and washcloths were yellow-brown and dingy, and what looked like a piece of chocolate cereal was behind the bathroom door. I won't stay here again.

I booked a last-minute room through Expedia and wish I’d called the hotel directly. It turned out to be a superb choice. The room on the ground floor was quiet and clean, and I could bring my dog. The staff were well trained and offered exceptional customer service, with extra perks too. I had everything I needed and could hope for, and highly recommend the hotel.

The location was great, and the front desk service was great too. The room was clean apart from a hot dog in the fridge. The towels need replacing, and the bathroom rug was stained and should be replaced. I think the hotel needs a makeover.

The room was freezing when we came in and very dim. The bathroom had only half a neon light. There was no coffeepot, and although there was an iron, there was no board. The towels looked like hand towels and were dingy and yellow, there weren't any cups in the room, and the pillows looked about ten years old and really sad.
