I’d hoped this would be an okay place to sleep for two nights after a 12-hour travel day with my toddler and family. Instead, we left the next morning after only a few hours of sleep. The non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. I don’t blame the staff for the smell, but the night worker acted as though asking for help was unreasonable. The only suggestions were Febreze and dryer sheets. I couldn’t control the room, but I could choose where my daughter slept, so we moved to another room I had paid for my family. Getting a refund for the room we didn’t use turned into a long back-and-forth with the GM. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt that she can’t authorize refunds, but that should have been explained at the start. John was the only person who didn’t make things worse. He listened and apologized. I work in customer service, and I know yelling doesn’t help, but apparently the GM wasn’t the right person to speak with. They refunded only part of the first night, saying I couldn’t prove I’d left because I hadn’t returned the key to the front desk. This all happened around 4-5 a.m., and my toddler needed sleep. I’m hoping management sees this and contacts me so I can provide whatever proof they need for the rest of the refund. Despite asking, I wasn’t given their contact information. I wasn’t looking for a free night at a below-average hotel. After that long trip with a toddler and an elderly family member, switching rooms was the only practical option.

The price is great, and the room was seriously clean with no cigarette smell, which matters a lot to me since I don’t smoke. As a truck driver, I’ve stayed in hotels all over, including some that still give me goosebumps to think about. This place was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve had. The woman at the front desk was professional and courteous, and I felt welcome from our first interaction. I just checked in, but I’d definitely return if I’m back in town. I recommend it 10000000%.

The owner pointed out that the $60 room is described clearly, and you get what you pay for. Fair enough. It was clean and very basic, not a high-quality place, but for that price I’d rate it higher than I did before.

For $55, my one-night stay was reasonable. The breakfast was okay, though the sheets had some stains and the room door was broken. I didn’t mind the door. It’s an acceptable place to stop and spend the night.

I paid for 10 days and had used only a few when this happened. The worker wouldn’t negotiate a refund, so I lost more than $500 in room costs. I also lost over $900 worth of belongings, including documents I needed to get a motel room elsewhere. In all, staying here cost me $1,400, along with my identification, clothes, and medications. Everything. The morning worker, who sometimes works the front desk, was extremely rude. He had white hair and was skinny, and tried to give me a fake name, calling himself Joe. It was 12:36 p.m. on September 3rd when I wrote this, and he was working then. He called the police because I had medication he disapproved of, even though it was legal. As he chased me off the property, I spoke to another worker, who said I wasn’t banned and could return. The next morning, that same worker came into my room and said I was trespassed. He wouldn’t let me collect my belongings.
