Creekside Resort

The staff were responsive and genuinely pleasant to work with. We were there for a family reunion over a long weekend, and the resort was a great place for everyone. The kids had fun in the outdoor pool, which was a welcome break from the heat, and the air-conditioned pavilion worked really well for meals and hanging out.

We came for my father-in-law's birthday and left wanting to visit again. The drive in is beautiful, the property is lovely, and the horses seemed really friendly. Since it rained the whole time, we missed out on the horse rides, but we had a good time lighting a fire and cooking over it. It felt a bit like camping. The bathroom was the main downside. The water really did smell like sulfur, and the odor lingered in there. The sink also drained very slowly. My boyfriend and I found our mattress incredibly uncomfortable, though his parents didn't seem to mind theirs. Without the mattress and bathroom issues, this would've been a 5/5 place.

The pond was probably our favorite spot outside, and the whole layout worked so well for a wedding, with the cabins, pavilion, and pond all fitting together nicely. We were here for my cousin's wedding, and wow, what a beautiful location. The cabins were gorgeous and so clean. I'd definitely book this place for a large event in the future.

The cabins are great, but the house on the hill and little cottage really need new beds. The water smells like sulfur, and the little cottage didn't have running water at all. I only saw the venue staff when we picked up chairs. They came across a bit rude when someone asked to leave a few chairs for 30 minutes so the older guests could sit while pictures were being taken.
