Coconut Cove All-Suite Hotel

Having two teens with us, the roomy layout made a big difference. It gave the adults and kids separate spaces, which a standard hotel room wouldn’t have. Check-in was easy, though finding the lobby was confusing, and it would help to tell guests where the ice machine and laundry are. The pool and outdoor space are nice, but there was sand and debris in the pool, and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Daily attention to the pool area and a few updates could make it really great. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Also, you must try the Italian restaurant next door!

The staff were great and accommodating, and we liked the pool, well-stocked kitchen, and quieter setting. Restaurants and the beach are a bit of a walk, which suited us since it wasn’t loud or hectic while we relaxed. The major problem was how our booking was handled: our reservation was canceled over a card issue, but nobody told us. After traveling all the way from NYC, we were exhausted and couldn’t get the room we’d booked. They gave us another room and a small refund, but better communication would have helped a lot. I’ll most likely stay again.

The beach was quiet, and it was easy to find an umbrella and chairs to rent at the hotel’s shared private beach across the street. We liked the layout, though the beds weren’t very comfortable. When we checked in, the floor in our unit was very dirty. I’m confident the front desk would have helped if I’d mentioned it, but we arrived late with the kids and didn’t want to deal with it then. Still, we had a great stay and would come back.

We spent more time by the very nice pool than at the beach, and there were free pool toys and bottled water at both the pool and front desk. The suites look like their online pictures, and the beach access is an easy, short walk across the street. Front desk staff were consistently welcoming and helpful. The beds weren’t very comfortable, and housekeeping comes only every four days, though you can get fresh towels daily. For the price, I’d recommend the place.
