Royal Canadian Motel

The rooms look nice and were very clean, and the beach and Main Street shops are close enough to walk just about anywhere. The staff and the other guests were all good people. If I’m back in Clearwater, I’ll stay here again.

Quiet area, great rooms, and very clean. It feels like having your own little apartment. Cross the street and walk a few hundred feet, and you’re at the beach. The shops and Pier 60 are an easy walk too. Rates are good compared with other nearby hotels, and you get a lot for your money. Check-in was easy, and the staff were super friendly. This will be my hotel of choice next time I’m in Clearwater Beach.

We’ll stay here every time we visit, and I wish we’d found it sooner. It’s an adorable motel with very clean rooms laid out like little apartments, and the price wasn’t too high. The owner was friendly, and they checked us in at 10:30 am, so we didn’t have to wait until 3 or 4.

The heated pool felt like our own private pool, and they made the beds and brought fresh towels even though we hadn’t asked for service. Our unit had a kitchenette with a stove, sink, fridge, dishes, pots, and pans. The beautiful white sand beach is just a block away, while the shops, restaurants, and entertainment are still an easy walk. We liked being near the local residential neighborhood, at the edge of the busy tourist shopping and lodging area. Tony, the owner-manager, was professional and made us feel welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at the Royal Canadian Motel, and he earned our repeat business and any referrals we can send his way.
