Delux Inn

I work out of town and had planned to stay 3 nights, but left after just 1. The AC wouldn't cool even with the temperature turned down, and the online photos seem to be old. I couldn't stop worrying about bed bugs while I was in bed. They only give you 2 bath towels and 1 washcloth, and don't expect clean ones the next day. The phones don't work, so you can't call the rooms or make calls. The guy wanted to charge me $30 to check in 20 minutes before the 2PM check-in time. Unbelievable. I should've left right then. Worst motel stay I've ever had!

The room was extremely dirty, with black mold and black dust around the AC, which doesn't blow cold air and clearly isn't maintained. There was trash behind the bed, the smoke alarm was hanging from a wire, and the room phones didn't work. The bathroom looked awful, with rust all over the showers. Room service tried to make me leave 5 hours before checkout. When I didn't, the manager let himself in, walked into my room, and asked when I was leaving with a GoPro in his hands.

A decent little room if you're on your own. The shower rod needs fixing.

The rooms are really nice, but the toilet's tank float needed replacing. I had to push it down every time to get the water to rise and flush. Before I even rented the room, the woman kept telling me I had to clean up after myself. That felt unprofessional and made it seem like she thought I don't clean up after myself, even though I do.
