The family managing Excelsior at the Manor House seem to truly care about how guests are treated, and they’re attentive. The place has loads of charm and character. If you’re into a classic, traditional look, it’s amazing.
We used the trophy room for a leadership meeting, and it worked perfectly. The setting felt intimate, with a nice spot to walk around during breaks. They also set up a coffee bar for us, which was a nice touch. The location was just right.
We used the Events room for virtual training, and they provided the technical setup we needed to stay focused. The hosts were really attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had everything. Our room was clean, cozy, nicely decorated, and wonderful.
A great place for social events and activities. The atmosphere is extremely nice, and the rooms are clean and well kept.
There wasn’t even another person around, let alone anyone to check me in. I felt scared and called both the hotel and hotels.com to say I didn’t feel safe, but neither helped. They also refuse to reverse the charge. I won’t stay here or use hotels.com again. It was advertised as a manor house with a restaurant, bar, and pool, but what I found was a run-down place in the middle of a dark park.
