Inn @ Clemson

Dutch Bros right next door was a nice surprise. It's around a 20-minute walk to downtown and campus, which worked well for us. The hotel is usable but a bit run down, and it won't suit someone who's picky or after anything fancy.

We held a company meeting in the conference room, and Justin at the front desk helped me print what I needed. I really appreciated his help. He was warm and professional.

I stayed for one night about four months ago, and I'm still waiting on the refund they said they'd send. I requested one after finding mold all over the AC unit the next morning, but they offered only 50 percent through Booking.com. A month later, Booking.com told me they hadn't heard from the hotel. I haven't received anything since. The first room had no working AC and smelled musty, though they did give us another room with AC. The staff were fairly nice, but there were plenty of other issues. The beds had stains, the toilet barely worked, and the shower head seemed sketchy. The view was just the top of another building. The TVs only had outdated regular cable, which isn't the end of the world, but lots of hotels have working smart TVs.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing room, and the staff were wonderful. Whenever we come to clumps, this is our go-to place.
