Staybridge Suites Clermont Southeast by IHG

The staff made this week feel special from the start. The front desk girls were so sweet, and the one who helped me daily made me feel at home. She'll know who I am if you mention the Irish girl. McKenna also arranged a late checkout before my 7pm flight back to Ireland, which made a long travel day much easier. Housekeeping were lovely too. On a day our room was missed, a kind gentleman with long dreads brought fresh sheets right away and greeted us cheerfully each morning. Another gentleman sometimes helped at breakfast and was just as lovely. I wish I'd gotten everyone's names. We came from February 14th for a full week. I'm from Ireland, my partner Daniel lives locally and works nearby, and this was a perfect place for my visit. I'd asked for a room near the lift and they sorted that out. The hotel is modern and beautiful, and our spacious, comfortable room felt ready to be our home for the week. The kitchenette had pots, pans, plates and cups, and they left us a dishwasher tablet each day, which made things easy. The evening socials Monday through Wednesday were welcoming, and we went all three nights. The gym had what you'd need and plenty of space, and the pool area was lovely. Free washers and dryers helped give the place a homely feel. I also loved the complimentary coffee and butter popcorn. I'm a big popcorn fan, and that little touch didn't go unnoticed. The hot tub was quite cold, so we would've liked it warmer for evening use, especially after dark. I hope they can adjust it. The large duvet in the closet also took up a lot of space. It may be for the sofa bed, but perhaps it could be provided on request or when that bed is needed. Everyone we met was fantastic and went above and beyond. We had a wonderful stay and are already planning to return to our new favourite long term hotel. Thank you for making the trip so memorable.

We've been here three times in the past year and expect to keep staying when we're in the area for work or fun. It's less than a year old, well kept, clean, and in a great spot. The staff are friendly and fun, and the prices are affordable. Breakfast has plenty of choices, and there's a conveniently placed laundromat. The outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, seating area with couches, and barbecue grills are all nice to have. The silverware and glass plates are a special touch. I'm just getting into IHG rewards, and Staybridge is already up there for me.

The room we ended up in was clean and comfortable, and the staff were professional and courteous throughout. There was a problem with the first room because of the previous guest, but they dealt with it quickly. TeTe was kind and helpful, as were the two men working that night on 3/14/26 and another woman. I'd be happy to stay here again.

The hotel and rooms are new, modern, and nice, and the beds were comfortable. But the night wasn't restful, so the room price felt like a waste. I was staying nearby while a mold issue at home was being fixed, and only needed the room from 10:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. I wanted fresh air, but walking in, I was hit by a strong bleach smell. It wasn't busy, so there seemed to be plenty of other rooms. Housekeeping may need to rethink the amount of bleach used, since disinfecting shouldn't require that much. The AC didn't work properly. I had it set to 63 and kept getting up to turn it down, even though I keep my home at 72 at night and normally wake up freezing. I was staying there partly because I couldn't run the AC at home due to the mold. A smoke or fire detector also blinked brightly all night, which was irritating. I was too tired to go downstairs and ask for another room. I also couldn't get to my suitcase because it was in the room being treated, and I was carrying my pillows and other belongings, so hauling everything downstairs again felt like too much. The hotel is nice, but these issues need attention.
