I was there for just 9 hrs and paid over $100, after the last available room was charged at double in the middle of the night. Taking advantage of people affected by hurricane Irma is way not cool. The mattresses were old and stiff, cleanliness left a lot to be desired, and I got sick after the stay. Service was incredibly poor, and so was the judgment behind that price. The one upside is the convenient spot across from waffle house and cracker barrel, among others. If it hadn't been an emergency, I never would have stayed. What a horrible thing to do to people.

The staff were friendly and nice. It's an okay place to spend a night, though the property is run down. A big section of the bathroom needs replacing, and the paint needs touch-ups. The undamaged areas are kept clean and looking nice.

Getting checked in was the best part. The room had only channel 3 on the TV, rumpled-looking beds, dirty mirrors, and a toilet with its top cracked in half. They worked on the cable for 8 hours, then we had to pack everything up and switch rooms. Cable worked in the next room, but the sheets and bedspread had several cigarette burns, not just one. The lobby smelled like a sewer when we first came in, which should've been a clue. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Our stay was bad from start to finish. The toilet wouldn't flush when we arrived, and a man in flip flops came to plunge it. Staff also refused to give us the government rate discount. In the parking lot, something very sketchy was going on that looked like a drug deal, and an older woman who seemed to live there long-term tried to get us to pick up trash. The place is old and disgusting, and I wouldn't spend money to stay here again. It's definitely not somewhere I'd bring children. The other reviews seem to match what we experienced. If I could give it no star, I would.
