Parking was the biggest drawback. The lot advertised with 629 Lofts is very tight, steep, and low-clearance, so it’d be hard to use with many vehicles. I found the 6th Street Beacon garage above Potbelly much easier to navigate. I spent a year in a one-bedroom unit and had a good stay, with no major problems and appliances that worked when needed. The gym was a nice extra, and the rooftop amenity on 4th Street was unusual. The large windows brought in plenty of light. Since I still live downtown, I’ll especially miss walking through the beautiful Holiday Inn Express lobby, which added a nice touch. I didn’t renew because I wanted windows that opened for fresh air, a washer and dryer in the unit, and easier parking. Those features may be deal breakers for some, but I’d recommend the place to others if they aren’t.
