The food was the standout for me. Everything had the flavor and quality you hope for when dining out, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable even if you weren’t there for the complimentary Saturday and Sunday brunch. The coffee was great, too, and the service was excellent. I’m still talking about it, and I was amazed the place wasn’t packed. We arrived late Friday and were promptly greeted by friendly staff, who carried our bags up to the third-floor room without being asked. The room was beautiful, with the historic mansion renovated without going overboard. We also enjoyed a drink at the bar, where the staff were friendly without hovering.

My husband booked this for my birthday, and I was so pleased with the friendly welcome from Lisa and the breakfast attendant. Having a bar and restaurant right there was convenient, and the food was good overall. A few things stood out: the zucchini was fresh with a light batter, the tuna stack looked nice and tasted good, and the rainbow trout had good flavor with surprisingly crisp potatoes. The seafood pasta was cooked just right, though the pesto felt heavy. The roasted cauliflower had a great flavor, and I liked the dip. The maple Brussels sprouts were very sweet. Lobster bisque and pierigoe were average and not especially memorable. We hope to visit again soon!

Ruben really made brunch special. He was attentive, funny, and kept checking that we had everything we needed, plus a little extra. The host was welcoming too. I had a great time and will be back. Easily the best brunch in Cleveland.

The kitchen stays visibly clean, even as staff take you to your table, which is a big plus. I love the atmosphere and service here, and the food is rich and delicious.

Little Italy is right outside, and there’s a great coffee roaster across the street, so the location is hard to beat. Our inn room was spotless and reminded me of a European boutique hotel. I loved relaxing on the chaise by the window. The brunch was elegant and delicious, especially the eggs Benedict a la Oscar.
